Quite strange. I seem to have more than 5,000 Friends, and the List even seems to continue growing. Although my statistic shows already as 5,000, people I sent Friend Requests to in the past accept those requests and come in as my new Friends. Moreover, I went through my List of 5,000 and could not find my old acquaintances. Then, when I searched for them INDIVIDUALLY, they showed up as still being my Friends.

What I cannot do is send NEW Friend Requests; I am prevented from doing so. I also no longer see "People You May Know" on the Home Page.
