At the theatre, while waiting for workshop participants to arrive, I look at windows I'd been seeing but never looked out from for the past four years. I decide to approach one. I see a portion of the street I've passed many times before, on the way from the hotel to the theatre. I wonder if anyone has ever seen me walking on that street from that window, as I visualize myself walking on that street from where I am standing, at the window.
I am here and I am there, and so are we all, if only we bother to stand up, come close, and look.
