I am dismayed whenever the masses judge entertainers as "sikat" or "laos". In other countries, entertainers are revered their entire lifetime and are even honored in halls of fame.

The only explanation I can think of is that those entertainers themselves are to blame. They bred this lethal mentality by catering to audiences that they wanted to BUY their products, period. They were audiences that they fed commercial values of youth, beauty, flirtation, even sex. Those audiences then grew up and threw away those products as soon as they got tired of them, subconsciously disillusioned that the entertainers who used to entertain them did not remain young and beautiful and flirtatious and sexy forever.

If you are an artist, be careful what you give your audiences.
